Job Summary
RN-Specialty serves as primary liaison between specialty physician and patient, communicating with patients, assessing needs, and advising on recommended actions/course of treatment as directed by the physician. Hybrid, full-time role at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Requires graduation from an accredited RN program and Missouri RN licensure; 1-2 years in cardiology preferred. BLS/ACLS preferred (must obtain within 90 days of hire). Provides compassionate, professional patient care within a collaborative team across outpatient, clinic, and hospital settings.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- RN licensure in Missouri
- Minimum 1-2 years in cardiology preferred (hospital, ER, testing, or clinic settings)
- ACLS and BLS preferred (must obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Experience communicating with patients and advising actions/course of treatment as directed by Physician
