Job Summary
Clinic RN provides direct patient care across nursing processes (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and administers medications/treatments via multiple routes. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, collaboration with physicians and staff, documentation in EMR, education for patients and families, participation in quality improvement activities, and maintenance of supplies/equipment in a collaborative, mission-driven health system. Requires Iowa RN licensure (compact accepted where applicable), BLS within 3 months, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Based in Livonia, MI system presence with MercyOne Norwalk Clinic in Central IA. Responsibilities also include coordination with care teams, scheduling, admissions, referrals, and outpatient procedures while upholding Trinity Health values.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License in the state of Iowa
- Compact State License acceptable where applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training
- Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, web, email, MS Office)
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Completion of specialty classes or proof of other certifications for some roles
