Job Summary
The Clinic RN - Orthopedics in the Contact Center provides direct patient care in an ambulatory setting, utilizing the nursing process. Responsibilities include performing preliminary patient assessments, evaluating complex care situations, accepting accountability for delegated care, and providing education to patients and families. The role requires a current RN license, along with the ability to use independent nursing judgment, and strong communication skills for engaging with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Must possess current temporary RN permit as required by state board where services will be provided
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Associates of Science in Nursing Degree (ASN) or Diploma
- Currently enrolled in a BSN program and BSN completed within 5 years of hire.
Additional Requirements
- Requires 2 years triage experience AND/OR 2 years experience in Orthopedics.
