Job Summary
The Clinical Office Assistant performs direct or indirect patient care under physician supervision, handling urgent, emergent, or preventive health care needs. Responsibilities include general patient care, assisting with procedures, documenting activities, educating patients and families, and adhering to established policies and ethical standards. Required Qualifications
- Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required.
- Active LPN license in state of employment
- Active RN license in state of employment
- CPR provider certification required.
- Certification/licensure as Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant per listed organizations (AAMA, AMT, NHC/AHCA, etc.)
