Job Summary
Provide direct or indirect care under the supervision of a physician to patients presenting with urgent, emergent or potential health problems, as well as preventive care. Duties include general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities and patient/family education, and adherence to established principles, ethics, and Deaconess policies.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant or nursing license in Indiana
- Education - CMA
- Completion of a Medical Assisting certification program (CMA Resident program acceptable)
- Education - LPN/RN: licensed practical nurse or registered nurse with Indiana license
- CPR Provider-C required
- Active licensure in Indiana (RN/LPN) or CMA certification as applicable
