Job Summary
The Clinical Office Assistant is responsible for providing direct or indirect care under a physician's supervision to patients presenting with urgent, emergent or potential health problems, as well as preventive care. Services include general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities and patient/family education, and adherence to established policies and procedures. Hours may vary; position is supplemental/working as needed, on-site at Evansville, IN. Skills/requirements include active certification/licensure such as Medical Assistant or Nursing licenses (e.g., CMA/RMA, LPN, RN) and CPR; education includes graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or nursing program.
