Prepare equipment and aid physicians during patient examinations and treatments. Record vital signs, instruct patients on medication, and administer prescribed treatments per nursing standards. Observe and report patient responses to the physician, while triaging patients to appropriate settings and overseeing appointment bookings. Authorize drug refills, maintain exam room cleanliness, and arrange for patient testing and admissions. Actively participate in performance improvement and attend mandatory staff meetings and in-service classes.
