Job Summary
Clinic RN in Wound Care handling outpatient patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation under supervision; administers medications and treatments via multiple routes, coordinates with interdisciplinary teams, educates patients and families, maintains EMR documentation, and supports quality improvement initiatives. Full-time daytime schedule (Mon-Fri, 7:30a-5:00p) with a 5,000 sign-on bonus eligible; requires active Iowa RN license with possible compact-state eligibility and BLS within 3 months of hire; emphasizes mission-driven care and collaborative leadership in a large MercyOne Des Moines Wound Care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License in the state of Iowa
- Compact State License acceptable where applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 2 years wound care experience (for eligibility)
- Proficient in EMR documentation
- Ability to work in outpatient setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
