Job Summary
Provide patient-focused, safe, holistic nursing care in a clinic setting while ensuring all interventions align with current best practices. Continually assess, anticipate, and respond to changing patient needs, managing a varied caseload independently. Apply clinical expertise in wound management, infusion therapy, palliative care, and chronic disease management to achieve successful outcomes. Maintain proficiency in English and basic computer skills for documentation. Required Qualifications
- Clinical skills and knowledge of wound management
- Clinical skills and knowledge of infusion therapy
- Clinical skills and knowledge of palliative care
- Clinical skills and knowledge of chronic disease management
- Minimum 2 years of community nursing experience
- Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Ability to work independently in managing a caseload
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Excellent patient assessment and teaching skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Basic proficiency in Word, Excel
