Clinic Registered Nurse (RN): Palliative

Job Summary
Provide patient-centered RN care in outpatient clinic settings, performing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Administer medications and treatments, coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate EMR documentation. Participate in quality improvement activities, risk management, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Schedule: Full-time, day shift (8:00a-5:00p) with no weekends or holidays; requires active Iowa RN licensure and BLS within 3 months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License in the state of Iowa
- Compact State License acceptable where applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training
- Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows environment)
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Experience with EMR documentation and nursing processes
