Clinic Registered Nurse (Per Diem)

Job Summary
Plan, provide, and coordinate Public Health Nursing Services in assigned programs, clinics, and the community under the supervision of the Public Health Director. Deliver prevention, education, quality assurance, and services covering immunization, developmental screening, family planning, communicable disease investigation and control, counseling, and prenatal education. Conduct accurate physical assessments and perform maternal/child health, home visiting, and disease control procedures while maintaining client confidentiality. Work with clients of varying backgrounds and establish cooperative relations with public and private agencies. Maintain a valid Oregon RN license, BLS certification, and Oregon driver's license; bilingual ability in English/Spanish is desired. Travel to Heppner occasionally for up to 19 hours per week as a per diem role.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Nursing
- Minimum of two years' experience in a position providing a broad scope of nursing services, including maternal/child health, communicable and chronic disease
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon
- Valid Oregon Drivers License with satisfactory driving record
- BLS certification
- Willingness to live and work in a rural area
- Willingness to travel
