Job Summary
Provide professional nursing assistance to physicians and staff at Jacksonville medical Care by working as a team to provide quality healthcare to patients. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, administering medications and managing prescription requests/refills under physician direction, entering patient information into the EMR, assisting with procedures, maintaining supply rooms and equipment, ensuring a clean and orderly work environment, and supporting clinic operations while adhering to OSHA/RIPPA regulations. Proficiency in clinical skills such as injections and sterile techniques is required, along with basic pharmacology and effective communication with patients to ensure quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a valid nursing or medical assistant license.
- Must be familiar with basic medical Office procedures.
- Must have a working knowledge of OSHA and RIPPA regulations.
