Job Summary

Manage provider scheduling systems, clinic templates, and patient access processes while monitoring utilization, no-show rates, and cancellation trends to improve access and efficiency. Lead initiatives to enhance patient flow, clinic throughput, and operational performance by serving as the primary liaison between physicians and leadership. Coordinate provider schedules, leave requests, and coverage plans; direct daily deployment of Medical Assistants and monitor encounter completion workflows. Investigate operational patient complaints, develop performance metrics, and prepare reports for the Medical Director. Collaborate with the Nursing Manager to align workflows with clinical quality objectives and implement practice improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in healthcare practice management, clinic operations, or a related healthcare administrative leadership role
  • Experience coordinating provider schedules and clinical operations
  • Strong understanding of patient access, scheduling, workflow, and healthcare operations
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with physicians, providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams
  • Ability to analyze operational data and prepare reports for leadership
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR), practice management systems, and healthcare information systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
