Clinic/Practice Assistant, Urology

Clinic/Practice Assistant for urology at Mass General Brigham, supporting a busy outpatient clinic in Newburyport, MA. Responsibilities include performing both administrative and clinical duties to support smooth and efficient clinical service, such as scheduling patient appointments, check-in/check-out, processing billing forms, scanning documents to the medical record, and acting as a Super User for scheduling, registration, and billing systems. The role requires coordinating with supervision to oversee daily activities of practice staff, managing co-payments when required, handling prior authorizations and patient communications, and contributing to a high-quality patient experience. Primary location is the Newburyport office (260 Merrimac Street). This is a full-time, 40-hour position with a hybrid work arrangement; education requirement is a High School Diploma or Equivalent, CMAA preferred, and 2-3 years of healthcare or customer service experience is strongly preferred. Knowledge of Office Suite and medical terminology, effective written communication, time management, and teamwork are important for success.
