Job Summary
Conduct outpatient care for pediatric patients including breathing treatments, suturing, X-rays, lab testing, and prescription medication dispensing. Maintain active RN, LPN, or CMA/RMA/CCMA licensure and current CPR certification. Operate within Medical Office Building 2 at Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. This weekend option position requires graduation from an accredited nursing or medical assistant program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current certification/license from one of the below: Certified Medical Assistant- American Association of Medical Assistants
- Current certification/license from one of the below: Registered Medical Assistant- American Medical Technologist
- Current certification/license from one of the below: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant- National Health career Association
- Current certification/license from one of the below: National Certified Medical Assistant- National Center for Competency Testing
- Current certification/license from one of the below: Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant- National Association for Health Professionals
- Current certification/license from one of the below: Registered Medical Assistant- American Allied Health
- Current certification/license from one of the below: Certified Medical Assistant Clinical- American Medical Certification Association
- Active LPN license in state of employment
- Active RN license in state of employment
- CPR provider certification
