Job Summary
Manage day-to-day clinic operations in Vancouver, WA, including planning staff assignments, hiring, performance reviews, and onboarding. Coach employees, cross-train staff in diagnostics and vitals, and audit safety standards like fire inspections and equipment calibration. Handle physician inquiries, resolve complaints, ensure HIPAA compliance, and manage budgets for medical and office supplies. Assist with patient examinations, vital signs, and diagnostic testing while collaborating on provider scheduling and metrics analysis. Based in Vancouver with weekly travel to Eugene, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a health care related field w/ 4 years of related experience or Master's Degree w/ 2 years (Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- 2 or more years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects preferably in a clinical or medical practice environment
- State of Washington ONLY: Active Medical Assistant License w/ the Washington State Department of Health
- National Medical Assistant Certification (must be obtained prior to start date if not currently active)
- This is a working manager position. Must be able to support back office duties when needed.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and communicate effectively
- Must be able and willing to travel as needed to support the Eugene, OR clinic or to other areas as needed
- An understanding of medical terminology
- The ability to learn and understand new proprietary software applications
