Job Summary
Assist cardiologists and care teams with direct or indirect patient care, including procedures, documentation, and education on heart-healthy lifestyles for urgent, emergent, and preventive cases. Provide compassionate support under physician supervision while adhering to Deaconess policies and ethical standards. Maintain current certification from an accredited program, CPR provider certification, and relevant licenses such as CMA, RMA, or CMA-Clinical. Work full-time days, Monday through Friday, for 40 hours weekly within the IL Region.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current certification/license from one of the listed organizations (Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, National Certified Medical Assistant, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant Clinical)
- CPR provider certification
