Job Summary
Greet and assist patients during check-in and check-out, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries while maintaining accurate records. Collect time-of-service payments, process invoices, and enter charges for billing in compliance with clinic policies. Answer phone calls, route messages, and monitor office supply inventory to ensure availability. Assist clinical staff with triage, coordinate patient referrals, and manage physician call schedules and license renewals. Maintain a clean environment following infection control protocols. Requires 0-2 years of experience in a medical office setting, proficiency in EMR systems, and a Certified Medical Office Administrative Assistant (CMAA) license preferred. Authorized to work in the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare administrative setting
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and office software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Customer service-oriented with a professional and courteous demeanor
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for an employer
