Job Summary
Provide clinic management support and supervise assigned staff in the designated clinic setting. Perform the nursing process in a safe therapeutic manner in an inpatient setting, including direct patient care for assigned patients in the inpatient setting and intensive care unit. Monitor ESRD/AKI patients on dialysis while supporting adherence to University Health and department-specific policies. Mentor and assist in supervising clinical staff, providing management support for the Acute Dialysis Patient Care Coordinator. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Magnet), three years of clinical dialysis nursing experience, and current Texas RN licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Magnet)
- At least three years of clinical outpatient or inpatient dialysis nursing
- Two years of supervisory/charge experience in nursing
- Current license to practice Registered Nursing in the State of Texas
- Current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider card
