Clinic Nurse

Perform telephone triage assessments for patients on trial, provide education on clinical trial participation and investigational agent administration, and enter patient history into the Electronic Medical Record. Conduct basic patient assessments including physical exams, vital signs, and ECGs while observing general well-being to ensure dignity, health, and safety. Coordinate care with internal and external staff, respond to emergency situations, and provide coverage for the Infusion Nurse as directed. Prepare for clinic days, assist with prescription refills, and complete quality standards for EHR/PQRS. Work with physicians to ensure necessary labs and orders are performed and communicated effectively. Schedule: 8:00 am-5:00 pm EST, Monday-Friday. Location: Lake Success, NY 11042.
