Job Summary
Conduct phone triage and manage patient messaging via the electronic health record, adhering to standardized pediatric assessment protocols. Delegate patient care responsibilities appropriately while maintaining accountability for quality and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Provide health education to families focusing on self-management and preventive care, adapting to changing assignments and schedules as needed. Notify providers immediately of patients requiring urgent assistance and collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care plans and monitor outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing
- 2+ years experience in a primary care or urgent care setting
- Experience with pediatric patients
- Triage experience in a clinical pediatric setting
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- License RN-Registered Nurse (30) - State of Wisconsin
- License RN-Registered Nurse (IN Compact) - State of Indiana
- License RN-Registered Nurse (AZ Compact) - State of Arizona
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
- 2+ years experience in a primary care or urgent care setting preferred
