Job Summary
Provide primary and urgent care services to nursing center residents in collaboration with on-site medical providers and center leadership. Work directly with the Director of Clinical Practice and Medical Director to achieve center-specific goals and prioritize patient medical care. Deliver high-quality healthcare with everyday compassion to improve health outcomes for residents in skilled nursing and senior living facilities. This full-time role offers a work-life balance with no on-call or weekend requirements.
Required Qualifications
- graduate from an accredited School of Nursing program
- licensed as a registered nurse
- certified as a Nurse Practitioner by being a nursing graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program with a Master's Degree in Nursing and have a concentration and specialty track of Older Adult and/or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- graduate from a program accredited by the ARC-PA
- take the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE) to use the PAC designation
- APRN with an unrestricted professional license
- DEA, for each state in which they practice
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years experience working with adult or geriatric population
