Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider delivers primary and urgent care to nursing center residents in collaboration with Center Leadership and Medical Director. The role supports on-site collaboration with the Director/Area Clinical Practice Manager and works with Center Leadership to achieve the AlignMed mission across two nursing center locations (Frederick and Walkersville, MD). The position can be filled by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, requires a Master's in Nursing for NPs, and offers a 32-hour workweek across two centers, with a relocation bonus, no on-call/weekend requirements, and an incentive compensation program. The role includes potential specializations in wound care or palliative care, a comprehensive training program, CME support, and access to tools like UpToDate and CAPC; benefits include health plans, 401(k), malpractice coverage, and licensing renewal support.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing program
- Licensed as a registered nurse
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner with a Master's Degree in Nursing (Older Adult and/or Family NP concentration)
- For Physician Assistant: ARC-PA-accredited program and PANCE certification
- Two years of experience with adult or geriatric population preferred
- DEA license for each state practiced
