Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care and coordinate chronic pain medical treatments for assigned patients under indirect supervision. Complete the nursing process by performing assessments, triaging care needs, and administering prescribed treatments while maintaining accurate patient documentation. Collaborate with physicians, medical office assistants, and multidisciplinary teams to establish individualized care plans and ensure effective patient flow. Respond to emergency situations by recognizing changes in patient health status and adhering to safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and equipment maintenance requirements. Act as a mentor to Medical Office Assistants and support clinic operations through problem-solving and clear communication. Work part-time, 2-3 days a week, with a focus on restoring patient health and ensuring compliance with medical regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Post-Secondary Education
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Current BLS
- Must be in good standing with the College of Nurses
- Strong knowledge with medical procedures, equipment, and medical facilities
- Demonstrated ability to perform nursing assessment and triage
