Clinic Nurse Manager - Pediatrics

Manage assigned areas and multiple services within the Ambulatory Care Center by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational policies and personnel procedures. Own clinic operations with broad oversight for patient throughput, provider performance, and clinical services while maintaining accountability for daily staffing patterns and skill mix. Ensure quality of care by enforcing state board regulations, measuring health outcomes, and facilitating a culture of safety. Develop realistic plans balancing short- and long-term goals, monitor budget indicators, and assess clinical supplies to identify cost-effective alternatives. Provide direction to staff in interactions with inpatient units and collaborate with ancillary departments serving the Pediatrics population. University Hospital, a leading academic medical center and Level 1 Trauma Center, reports to the Administrative Director and Executive Director Clinical Operations.
