Clinic Nurse (LPN/RN)

Job Summary
Get rooms ready for patients, calibrate PFT sensors, and escort patients to treatment rooms each morning. Assist doctors with skin testing, administer medications and allergy injections, and perform pulmonary function and FeNO testing. Complete documentation in the EMR, send prescriptions, and prepare patient folders and environmental control packets. Maintain clinical areas, check refrigerator temperatures, and cover injection rooms or triage as needed. Process biologics and IVIG prescriptions with Healix & Specialty pharmacies. Train new staff and cross-train for triage positions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to fluently speak and read English
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, handbooks, policies, patient care plans and procedure manuals
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written, with all levels of staff and patients
- Diploma from an accredited LPN program
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university
- Current, valid, LPN or RN license in good standing to practice in the State of Kentucky
- Current, valid CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years of related nursing experience

- Ability to talk and hear in order to converse with others, discern, convey, express oneself, and exchange information
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, bend and sit

- Travel: Yes, to other clinic locations
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
