Job Summary
Room patients, obtain vital signs, assist with medical procedures, administer injections and medications, and verify patient medical records for completeness. Notify patients of test results and refill medications within the Certified Medical Assistant scope of practice. This role may float to support other KVH clinics. Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program and currently licensed in Washington with a current BLS card. Previous exposure to an Electronic Medical Records system is required; bilingual certification and wound care experience are preferred. Full-time 40-hour schedule with wage progression tiers available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program
- Currently licensed in the State of Washington
- Current BLS card for Healthcare Provider
- Previous exposure to an Electronic Medical Records system
Desired Qualifications
- Certified as Bilingual; English/Spanish
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant
- CWCA Wound Care Certification
