Job Summary
Assist providers with patient care, clerical duties, insurance verification, prior authorizations, and environmental tasks. Manage appointment scheduling and chart management while providing patient information to ensure full utilization of clinic services. Convey a positive image of the organization under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician present in the facility. Requires six months of experience in urgent care or primary care, a high school diploma, completed medical assistant training, and fluency in English. Part-time day shifts with competitive pay ranging from $22.00 to $27.00.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of six months' experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care physician practice setting and/or direct patient care experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion in an accredited Medical Assistant Training program
- Fluency in English
- Must have BLS within 30 days of hire
- Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia training within 90 days of hire, if required by department
