Job Summary
Assist providers with patient care, clerical work, insurance verification, prior authorizations, and environmental tasks. Manage appointment scheduling and chart management while providing information to patients to ensure they fully utilize clinic services. Convey a positive image of the organization. All clinical tasks must occur under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician physically present in the facility. Maintain fluency in English and complete Basic Life Support training within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of six months' experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care physician practice setting and/or direct patient care experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion in an accredited Medical Assistant Training program
- Fluency in English
- Must have BLS within 30 days of hire
- Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia training within 90 days of hire, if required by department
