Job Summary
Room patients, obtain vital signs, assist with medical procedures, administer injections and medications, verify and update medical records, refill medications, and notify patients of test results. This Clinic Medical Assistant supports assigned family medicine providers and may float to other KVH clinics. Requires graduation from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program, current Washington licensure, and BLS certification. Wage starts at $21.91/hour with tiered progression up to $39.02/hour based on experience. Position is per diem and not benefits eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program
- Currently licensed in the State of Washington
- Current BLS card for Healthcare Provider
- Previous exposure to an Electronic Medical Records system
Desired Qualifications
- Certified as Bilingual; English/Spanish
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant
- CWCA Wound Care Certification
- Certificate Program in Pediatrics from the American Association of Medical Assistants
- Certificate Program in Geriatrics from the American Association of Medical Assistants
