Clinic Medical Assistant

Register patients, compile medical records, and maintain accurate patient account receivables while performing diverse patient care activities such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting specimens. Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic treatments, including catheterizations, oxygen therapy, and minor outpatient surgery, while ensuring cleanliness and safety in the clinic. Manage patient flow, handle insurance billing and precertification, and operate office equipment as needed. Requires Medical Assistant certification; training may be substituted for experience.
