Job Summary
The Clinic Manager will lead the operations of one or more health clinics at Nashville General Hospital, supervising staff, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with TJC, HIPAA, and PCMH/PCSP standards. Responsibilities include managing patient flow, scheduling, billing and revenue cycle, budgeting, performance improvement, staff training, and provider communication. The role requires developing and executing plans to improve access, efficiency, productivity, service quality, and patient satisfaction, conducting regular staff and management meetings, and coordinating with finance, operations, and marketing to meet organizational goals. The position demands strong leadership, communication, budgeting, and regulatory compliance skills, with a working management presence to assist clinical staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Public Health or Master’s Healthcare Management or relevant degree strongly preferred with at least two years clinic experience or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years’ experience
- minimum of three years’ experience in a clinic setting
- previous PCMH/PCSP and experience with electronic medical records a plus
- previous management experience in a clinic preferred
