Job Summary
Operational leadership across multiple ambulatory cardiac care clinics with hybrid work arrangement between Omaha, NE and Bellevue, NE; responsible for planning and coordinating operations of an ambulatory patient care department, achieving department and organizational goals within approved budgets, and supervising staff. The role emphasizes hiring, firing, coaching/mentoring, orienting and evaluating staff, fostering physician relationships, promoting patient-centered care, and ensuring efficient workflows. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and several years of clinical and/or business operations experience with supervisory responsibilities; preferred qualifications include advanced degrees and certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, Six Sigma) and RN licensure in Nebraska or a compact state. The position may require afterhours work and entails strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required
- Minimum of four years clinical and/or business operations experience required
- Minimum of two years of supervisory/leadership experience OR four years of technical/mentoring experience with related responsibilities
- Flexibility and dedication to a team environment; ability to lead and develop teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to anticipate and respond to changes in direction and priorities
- Well-ordered approach to problem solving
- Excellent physician relationship skills
- Ability to deliver customer focused service
- Proficient with telecommunication equipment, information systems, patient care supplies, transport equipment, office equipment, and AV equipment
