Job Summary
Oversees the operations of physician practices to ensure cost-effective, high-quality patient care in a courteous environment. Coordinates start-up activities for new physician practices and credentialing, manages flow, documentation, training, staffing, and oversight of provider-practice operations. Manages hiring processes, performance evaluations, and employee coaching/termination per policy; provides orientation and maintains high levels of employee engagement and job performance. Requires knowledge of medical technology/terminology, front office tasks, and strong customer service and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - CPR (Required)
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a physician practice (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Office Manager (CMOM) (Preferred)
- Billing and coding experience in a physician practice (Preferred)
- Patient care experience in a physician practice (Preferred)
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement: Bachelor’s degree and no experience OR Associate degree and 2+ years of experience OR High School Grad or Equivalent and 4+ years of experience.
