Job Summary
Clinic Medical Assistant supports physicians and advanced practice providers by examining and preparing patients, rooms patients, documents in EMR, and coordinates testing and referrals. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, basic laboratory tests, collecting vitals and medical history, reconciling medications, maintaining exam and procedure rooms and equipment, ordering supplies, ensuring vaccination and safety protocol adherence, and traveling to other clinics as needed to provide coverage. Requires fluency in English, basic computer skills, and ability to adapt care to diverse patient needs; prior EMR experience preferred; education milestone includes a high school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience preferred.
