Job Summary
Coordinate patient intake, triage, and chart organization while administering oral medications, skin tests, and intramuscular/subcutaneous injections. Perform vital signs, Snellen and audiometry screenings, and prepare sterile fields for examinations and procedures. Manage medication inventory, monitor drug out-dates, and maintain equipment logs in collaboration with the Drug Room Nurse and Office Manager. Assist billing services with payment collection and process paperwork for insurance authorizations. Collect and label specimens for laboratory transport and document all care provided accurately. Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing training to maintain professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program
- Current LVN license from California State Board
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in a medical office setting

- Maintain current CPR for Health Care Providers
- Maintain current State of California LVN licensure
