Job Summary
Kennel Attendant in clinic responsible for maintaining animal care through healthy, sanitary, safe and comfortable conditions for animals in the clinic. Responsibilities include cleaning indoor cages and kennels, walking hospitalized patients, feeding, laundry, dishes, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying garbages; provide daily essential care, enforce Fear Free & Low-Stress Handling practices, communicate health/behavior issues to management, and support a positive environment for volunteers and staff. Shifts are 10am-6pm; expected to work up to 37.5 hours weekly; must be able to work independently and as part of a team, multitask in a fast-paced setting, and maintain professional appearance. Education/experience: High school diploma or GED required; 1 year of previous experience in an animal-related field preferred.
