Clinic Float (FM)

Manage all phases of the patient encounter, including drawing blood and obtaining specimens for clinical laboratory analyses. Take vital signs, direct patients to proper exam or treatment rooms, and ensure medications remain up-to-date. Answer incoming telephone calls, record and relay messages appropriately, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed. Collect copays and balances, maintain log sheets, and balance accounts at the end of the business day. Assist physicians with procedures as directed while maintaining positive relationships with patients, family members, visitors, and fellow employees.
