Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients with temporary and/or long-term physical disabilities, creating personalized care plans for pain relief, functional restoration, and healing. Maintain adherence to all local and federal compliance requirements while providing direct supervision and communication with physical therapy assistants and management staff. Work a 10 or 8-hour day shift Monday through Friday in our Broomfield outpatient clinic, specializing in orthopedics, sports medicine, and rehabilitation medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team Oriented
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program approved by the Commission for the Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in Colorado
- A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position
- A person who can meet the physical demand level of the position
- Requires the manual dexterity and general strength and endurance
- Lifting—routinely loads of 5-35 pounds from Floor to waist
- Waist to shoulder
- Shoulder to overhead
- Carrying—routinely loads of 5-10# for 40-50'
- Pushing---routinely loads of 5-150# on casters, runners or pulleys
- Sustaining a grip---routinely for 1-2 minutes of 40-50#
- Guarding a "lift load" routinely of 120-140#
Desired Qualifications
- Three+ years of clinical experience preferred but not required
- Three years management experience preferred but not required
