Job Summary

Oversee clinic program systems, workflows, and standardization to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance with OMH, DOH, and CMS bodies. Manage clinic budgets, fiscal forecasting, and billing integrity by reviewing documentation weekly, coordinating claim submissions, and resolving denials. Supervise the Assistant Director, Clinical Supervisors, and Psychiatric Providers while acting as the hiring manager for recruitment and onboarding. Lead quality assurance initiatives including chart audits, utilization review, and High-Risk Roster management. Ensure staff adherence to Medicaid, Medicare, and state/city funding requirements while reporting operational updates to the Vice President of Behavioral Health. Requires flexibility with hours and after-hour calls.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker with current, valid NYS registration
  • 5 years minimum clinical experience (with children, adolescents, and adults)
  • 2 years minimum progressive administrative and/or supervisory experience
  • Must have an excellent understanding of state and city OASAS/DOH/ OMH regulations
  • Must have knowledge of third party and managed care requirements
  • Strong knowledge of OMH, DOH, Medicaid/Medicare billing, and outpatient clinic regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated success in fiscal management, program operations, compliance oversight, and staff leadership
  • Position requires flexibility with hours, may require after-hour calls

  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with auditors, regulatory bodies, clients, staff, colleagues, public, other agencies and their staff and third-party insurance personnel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
