Job Summary
Direct and coordinate daily operations of the Academy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and licensing agencies. Lead medical, clinical, educational, and fiscal functions while overseeing recruitment, selection, and retention of staff. Supervise administrative, transportation, treatment room, and clinical personnel, including teachers, therapists, and nurses. Develop strategic marketing plans, manage referral development, and oversee outcomes data collection for continuous quality improvement. Ensure accurate billing, complete documentation prior to service initiation, and maintain compliance with licensure standards. Meet fiscal goals and complete fifteen hours of annual in-service training. Lead initiatives to provide highest quality care in a safe, therapeutic environment for children from birth to Kindergarten.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in business, education, healthcare, or related field
- Current Arkansas Certification in Early Childhood Special Education
- A current Child Development Associate Certificate
- 12 hours of completed college courses in one of the following areas-early childhood, child development, special education/elementary education or child and family studies
- documented experience in working with children with special needs
- Minimum of two years of successful experience in a leadership position
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people
- Must be able to work with children birth to age 7 and families who are at risk
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills which includes a working knowledge of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of families or employees of organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard situations
- Completes a minimum of fifteen hours of relevant/approved in-service training per year
