Job Summary
Clinic Director leads a clinical team and oversees operations and administrative functions of the clinic. Responsible for supervising, mentoring, and coaching clinicians (including Lead BCBAs, BCBAs, and Senior Therapists), ensuring high-quality ABA services, developing and communicating clinical objectives, managing staffing and evaluations, coordinating training, and ensuring adherence to clinical policies and procedures. This role involves staff development, performance management, recruitment collaboration with HR, intake oversight, liaison with executives, and ensuring compliant, evidence-based ABA programming (DTT, NET, PRT, VB) for clients with autism, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and effective communication with families and funding sources. Expectation: ~40 hours per week with strong leadership, strategic thinking, and data-driven treatment planning.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) with a minimum of 400 hours of hands-on training in providing ABA services directly to children and/or adults with autism under the supervision of a BCBA with at least two years of experience in ABA programming for individuals with autism, or actively pursuing such certification.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a human services discipline and at least 2,000 hours of training or supervised experience in the use of behaviorally based therapy models consistent with best practice and research on effectiveness for children with autism spectrum disorders who meet all criteria to receive this service, OR
- Must be legally authorized to perform psychotherapy, with either a Master’s Degree in one of the behavioral sciences who has at least 400 hours of training or supervised experience in the use of behaviorally-based therapy models consistent with best practice and research on effectiveness for children with autism spectrum disorders, in addition to, or as part of their 3,000 hours of training/supervision; and have sufficient written evidence of training and/or education in the method of evidence-based therapy being delivered, prior to the provision of services.
- At least five years’ experience as a Lead BCBA, Supervisor or Senior Therapist implementing behaviorally based techniques with children and adolescents.
- Proven leadership experience.
