Job Summary
Direct and supervise medical, non-clinical, administrative, security, and maintenance functions while evaluating behavioral health staff performance. Oversee fiscal operations including budget planning, expenditure authorization, and financial reporting; manage clinical supervision, staff scheduling, and incident documentation. Ensure compliance with infection control standards, CARF, OASAS, DEA, and DOH requirements to maintain audit readiness. Resolve patient care and workflow issues; sign off on admissions, transfers, and discharges. Collaborate with Finance, Real Property, and People & Culture on facility sanitation, employee relations, and hiring. Provide coverage for other clinics as needed, with potential Saturday and holiday rotation. Maintain bilingual English and Spanish proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Minimum of 6 – 8 years of clinical work experience in the Behavioral Health field
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical work experience in the SUD treatment field
- Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience, at least one of which is in the Substance Use Disorder Treatment field
- Must complete Clinical Supervision Foundations Training I and II within six months of hire
- Understanding and knowledge of urban community problems and its relation to healthcare, behavioral health, substance use disorders, co-morbidity and homelessness
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations and deliverables required by contracts between StartCare and funding agencies
- Experienced in Healthcare Facility Administration, specifically financial/budgets management, performance management and patient quality management
- A strong commitment to furthering institutional performance measures through interdisciplinary teamwork
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of Applications
- Experience using an electronic medical record system
- Proficient knowledge of the internet and the use web-based applications
- Expected travel is up to 20% of time to participate in staff trainings and management development programs
Desired Qualifications
- Masters in a Human Services Field preferred, or MBA or management related graduate degree
- CASAC (Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor) preferred
- Bilingual English and Spanish language a plus
