Job Summary
Clinic CT Technologist position performing computerized axial tomography exams under radiologist supervision, handling radiology procedures (CT/MRI/X-ray) with modern equipment at UAB Hospital-Leeds Outpatient Imaging. Full-time AM and flexi/PRN shifts, no mandatory overtime, no-on-call for most roles, located at Leeds imaging sites aligned with an academic medical center. Responsibilities include performing CT exams across anatomical regions, executing procedures under radiologist direction, and contributing to advanced medical imaging care in a Level I trauma center environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology
- Currently registered as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT
- Candidate will have one year from hire date to become registered in Computed Tomography (CT) from ARRT
- Or certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) by ARRT or NMTCB
