Job Summary
Greet and room patients, obtain vital signs, and document in patient charts while assisting with clerical duties and maintaining exam room cleanliness. Perform identified procedures under RN and physician direction, stocking supplies and managing clinic inventory. Care for patients ranging from newborn to elderly, ensuring all competencies are demonstrated. Maintain Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or obtain within three months. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no holidays, weekends, or call obligations.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state, i.e. Minnesota, Wisconsin
- Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant
- Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire
- Must pass certification within two attempts
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- This is a casual position
