Job Summary
Clinic Assistant with LPN/CNA considerations provides first aid and limited health services support for students under supervision of the school nurse or administrative staff. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid certifications or commitment to obtain within the designated timeframe, and preferred licensure/certification (LPN or CNA) issued by Florida’s Department of Health. Full-time position at Port Richey K-8 school, 7 hours per day, with background screening as required by Pasco County Schools. Supervising nurse/administrator directs level of care; candidate must be able to follow guidance and work within a school-based health services team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- First aid and CPR certifications or agreement to become certified within the designated timeframe
- Highly preferred Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification issued by FL Department of Health, Division of MQA
