Job Summary
Clinic Assistant in Neurology provides direct and indirect patient care under supervision of a Physician and/or licensed nurse, performs basic clinical and administrative tasks, assists with patient treatments, conducts screening procedures and specimen collection, documents care, maintains equipment and supplies, and supports clerical duties including filing, scheduling, data entry, billing and patient registration; supports an ambulatory care environment with a friendly, professional demeanor and adherence to regulations.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years recent experience as a clinic assistant in a physician office or hospital setting; or completion of a medically related training program; or currently enrolled in a medically related college degree program
