Clinical Allergy Specialist administers allergy tests and injections under a supervising physician, prepares customized immunotherapy vials, educates patients on immunotherapy, handles scheduling and documentation, collaborates with healthcare providers to deliver allergy care, and coordinates within the clinic to enhance visibility and presence of allergy services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in health-related fields preferred but combination of health-related education and experience will be considered
- minimum of 1 year full-time clinical experience in a medical office setting, customer service, or similar industry preferred
- strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- experience with medical office and/or business software programs preferred
