Job Summary
Coordinate clinical research studies in the Department of Pediatrics at UW‐Madison, across NICU settings at American Family Children’s Hospital and UnityPoint‐Meriter. Assist with recruitment, screening, and enrollment of trial participants and families, ensure adherence to study protocols, and serve as a main contact for participants. Contribute to protocol development, scheduling, workflows, and quality checks; perform medical assessments and, after required training, collect vital signs and phlebotomy as needed. Collaborate with pediatric faculty, nurses, and staff to manage data and samples, and support both industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials. May work in-person on campus or remotely at offsite locations; role identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical research role
- Experience utilizing Health Link or other electronic medical record (EMR) platforms, REDCap, OnCore, and Google Drive
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; focus in biological sciences, health care, or a related field preferred
