CLIN NURSE III

Correlate patient history and support systems, assess patient and family needs, and develop a comprehensive plan of care involving both parties. Recommend interventions and evaluate the care plan while utilizing clinical expertise to resolve complex management and physician problems without supervision. Demonstrate competence in critical skills appropriate to the population served and lead or participate in process improvement initiatives within the unit. Precept new employees or students, review clinical performance with the unit leader, and provide four contact hours of educational activities annually. Supervise LPNs, nursing assistants, HUCs, techs, and sitters while following all policies, procedures, and safety standards.
